Falmouth Court Care Home in Falmouth marked the anniversary of Victory in Europe Day in style by throwing a 1940s afternoon tea party to remember.

Home Instead Mid Cornwall has been declared a ‘5 star’ employer, showing that care is a worthwhile career path to take. The home care company’s employees have commended the company due to factors such as top-quality training opportunities and supportive leadership.

A new approach aimed at increasing the number of homes that have care and support available has been approved at Cornwall Council cabinet (Wednesday, 8 May). The recommendation will help people with health and social care needs access good quality accommodation with the right types of care and support in accordance with the council’s Supported and Specialist Housing Strategy.
